Beginning in 2010 the U.S. Mint will issue 5 quarters per year celebrating a National Park, National Historic Site or National Wildlife Refuge, 1 quarter representing a site for each of the 50 States and the 6 U.S. Territories, under the Program Title of AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL. The quarters will be issued in the order of their being named a National Site, beginning with HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK in Arkansas, established in 1832. The quarters will be issued like the State and Territory Quarters, 1 at a time in uncirculated P&D mintmark issues and the special Clad S-Mint and Silver S-Mint PROOF issues.
